Lifeboat Disaster: Funerals

Funeral services for the six men who lost their lives in the Robert Lindsay were held in Arbroath on Saturday 31 October 1953. Following private services in the homes of the victims the coffins were conveyed to the Old Parish Church where a public service was held.

Rev Colin Day, St Ninians, Rev Angus Logan, Old Parish Church, Rev Andrew Kerr, Princes Street Church and Rev Norman Faid, St John's Methodist, all took part in the service.
