Joseph Beuys' contribution to the 1980 Venice Biennale Das KAPITAL Raum 1970-1977 was filmed with a handlheld camera by the Dutch artist and filmaker Babeth in a personal way, utilising several technical manipulations, mostly in camera. Babeth attempted an autonomous, poetic rendering of Beuys while he was installing the exhibition. Different residues from earlier works are combined into the installation.
